Must Know
- Pets are not allowed on zoo grounds to protect the health and safety of the animals
- Straws and alcohol are not allowed in the zoo
- Scooters, bikes, skateboards, etc are not allowed in the zoo
Good to Know
Strollers: Strollers are allowed and a limited number of strollers are available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis at the admissions booths. Guests are asked to show a current photo ID.
- Single stroller: $5
- Double stroller: $7
Wheelchairs: A limited number of standard wheelchairs may be rented at the admissions booth on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are asked to show a current photo ID. To ensure availability, it is recommended that wheelchair reservations be made at least a day in advance by calling 617-541-5466 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Standard wheelchair: $5
- Motorized wheelchair: $20

- Free admission for children ages 2 and under

On-site usage
- Scan your mobile ticket at the gate upon arrival
- There is no re-entry after your ticket has been scanned
- This ticket is valid for daytime admission only and is not applicable for Boston Lights or Zoolights

- Children must always be in the company of adults
- You may bring your own lunch and snacks. There are many picnic areas available. Please note: straws and alcohol are not allowed on Zoo grounds.
