About
The first zoo in the United States has evolved with the times and is home to a cavalcade of incredible creatures, including the Amur tiger and African lions.
The 42-acre zoo is home to some 1,300 animals and themed areas such as Bear Country, Bird Valley, African Plains, Big Cat Falls, and the Rare Animal Conservation Center. There’s also hands-on experiences where you can feed birds!
If you want to keep your kids truly entertained during your visit, then don’t miss out on the ropes course and the SEPTA® PZ Express Train (available for an additional fee).
By connecting people with animals, Philadelphia Zoo creates joyful discovery and inspires action for wildlife and habitats.
